Program result:
MEASURE OF SILENCE
Exhibition of results from the International program of Exchange Art Residencies - NVAIR/Ukraine-Germany Ternopil Regional Art Museum
Close your eyes and listen to the field, filled with numerous productive sounds that together form silence. What villages are silent about, people in conditional isolation and temporary residents of the art program. What is visible from the side, and completely lost in perspective, what territories live here and now, what incompatibilities and productivities carry everyday actions and thoughts? Artists - program participants - during the month looked at Travneve from different angles and through their own themes, building new impressions in confirmation or denial of expectations. About exchanging time, that is life, for material values from Bohdan Svyrydov, About lost villages and the reason for losing the value of one's own history, reflects Roksolana Uhryniuk, about reducing the weight of paradoxes from Kateryna Kobylianska, About levels of vulnerability and feminine tenderness from Angela Geisenhofer.
