On the 2nd of June 2017 the First program of art residence was opened for the birthday of Nazar Voitovich/ The first resident of the program were 6 artists from Ternopil, Kyiv, Bahmut and Texas. This program initiated a line of the residence programs: open library-co-working place, cinema club, Sunday painting master classes. Identicus of Travneve village was investigating by Taras Donenko, chief designer of the studio Logogo, while working in company of the artists. To the investigation process local government, business and active citizens were involved. As a result of such a process we have got the project for the village branding of houses, route signs, signboards for infrastructure institutions, the collection of pictograms for marking the yards which are interested in marketing with home products with the village guests.The two –week exhibition took place in Ternopil gallery of modern art – “Bunkermuz”.
The project is the award to the community where the Hero and the young artists who are dreaming about the same future as Nazar Voitovych did to become an artist.
The project of Nazar Voitovich Art Residence is a platform for the artists self development who have get a chance according to the competition results to realize their artistic projects including the presence of specialized studios and living in the art center, working in cooperation with the coordinator, presenting their work in Ukrainian galleries and abroad. While living in the residence the process of community unification is taking place via realizing cultural and educational program, master classes and “artistocks” from residents. Thus the incoming of new people especially of the Ukrainian and foreign youth will allow the locals to deprive themselves of the complex of inferiority and isolation that is present because of the weak transport connection with a big city. The project opens the accessibility to the getting new skills while the communicating, talking, discussing with the thought leaders and activists from all over Ukraine.
