Biography

Nataliia Fedoryshyn is a contemporary visual artist whose practice explores themes of identity in a social life. Her works mainly depict a state of human life in the present, exploring the delicate relationship between human, nature and society. She has express a sense of loneliness through the  figurative and through the still lifes. Nataliia explains her artworks don't always belong to a single side. Her works fall somewhere in the middle between painting and illustration, she draws inspirations from the human daily life. Nataliia lives and works in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

Often we fail to notice the wildness of the primal nature outside our window, trying to close ourselves off from it, not accepting it, putting up a barrier. We escape from boredom and contemplation into the virtual world; even the long-time residents of May wish to be closer to the digitalised world, and that's normal, but does virtuality not replace the real, wonderful world for a person? In search of something interesting, we fail to see the beauty around us and ‘sit down’ into our own games
