Andrii Parahin

Biography

He is the author of the project “transformation period”. The aim of the project is the popularization of the photos as a type of fine art. Within the project four personal exhibitions of ordinary underground in Donetsk were presented.
Mostly was inspired by photoclub “obiektyv” (transl. “lense”) of which I am a member since 2008.
Since 2008 I actively participated in group exhibitions NFK “Obiektyv”. Since 2012 I activated my personal exhibition activity.

Conception of the project
«My own worries and search was completed by Andrii Parahin who while searching his own way, crossed the country from the Eastern part to Western. His works are collages that transmit us into the childhood and point at the search of self-identification. “Way. East” was realized in the Western part of Ukraine, although it sounds strange a little bit. I meant that in order to look at yourself it’s necessary to look from the side that is far away»
